Katie Robbins is an L.A. based freelance journalist, editor, and producer with strong ties to her home town, Brooklyn, USA. She writes about a wide range of topics, with a special emphasis on food, culture, and lifestyle. Her work has appeared in O Magazine, LA Weekly, Psychology Today, Saveur, Eating Well, Bust, the Atlantic online, Meatpaper, Tablet, and the L Magazine, among others. As a documentary and television news producer, she has covered a range of public policy issues for outlets including PBS NewsHour, ABC News, and Discovery.
In addition to her work as a journalist, Katie also helped develop and grow Figment, a creative social network for teens and young adults, where she served as VP of Partnerships and Director of Educational Programming.
